Clark Madara Broadbill

$1,600 plus Shipping

This Delaware River Broadbill Drake is by Clark Madara, Pitman, New Jersey, who carved circa 1890 – 1920.  He was a house painter by trade.

He made decoys with a smooth body, which was typical for the southern half of the Delaware River

This bird is all original and exhibits some gunning wear.  It is an excellent example of his work.

See:  “New Jersey Decoys” by Henry A. Fleckenstein, Jr. - Delaware River Decoys Section.
