This decoy was done in the 1940’s by Hurley Conklin from Manahawkin, New Jersey.  It remains in original paint and excellent condition.

Decoys of this age and style are very rare and hard to find.  Hurley is known more for his sleek birds of the 70’s and 80’s, but these were never made for use.

This is an excellent decoy at a very fair price.
