Chris Sprague Merganser

This red-breasted merganser was done

by Chris Sprague of Beach Haven, N. J.

This was made on a Horner pattern done

by Chris probably in the 60’s.

It is original and was never used.  Decoys

by Chris are hard to find in original paint.

This is some of his better work.  It has some

paint flaking and is dry with no wax.

It is an excellent collectible by one of

New Jersey’s premier carvers.
