Pair of Ken Anger Broadbills

This pair of broadbills is by Ken Anger (1905 – 1961)

of Dunnville, Ontario.  These decoys are hollow and

have the characteristic wing and bill carving.  They are

all original with a very minor scratch on the drake.

He carved decoys for over 30 years.  They have a rasp

finish, for which he is known for.

Bottom Detail of the hen is a flat gray finish.

The drake has the same exact finish on its bottom also.
